Measures in place
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA as the standard for this website. Current measures include:
- A skip link is provided at the start of each page, and interactive controls have a visible focus indicator on light and dark backgrounds.
- Navigation menus can be reached and operated with a keyboard. The mobile menu supports Escape to close and returns focus to its menu button.
- Pages use semantic headings and landmarks so visitors can navigate by page structure.
- Meaningful images include alternative text, while decorative images are omitted from screen-reader output.
- Text and interface colors are selected to meet WCAG contrast requirements for their displayed size and background.
- The contact form uses visible labels, browser-recognized autocomplete fields, and announced success or error messages.
- Animation and smooth scrolling honor the reduced-motion preference configured on the visitor’s device.
Known limitations
Videos hosted by YouTube
When an article or project includes a YouTube video, the player controls and automatic captions are provided by YouTube and are outside our direct control. A direct “Watch on YouTube” link and written context are provided with embedded videos. Contact us if a video presents a barrier and we will help provide the available project information another way.
